National Parks - Swaziland


The Hlane Royal National Park is the largest nature park in Swaziland. It was declared national park in 1967, after Swaziland’s king, Sobhuza II., left his hunting grounds to the benefit of the preservation of nature. The park is famous for its white-backed vultures which have their largest colony right here. Lions, white rhinoceros, kudus and many other animals live in this area, too.
